Just looked it up Ortiz failed the drug test in September. Pulev got injured at the beginning of October. So how could he replace Pulev?

I think Ortiz could be a dangerous fight for anyone, but I'd pick Joshua to beat him.

Shame Ortiz turned down the offer for a fight, as it would of been interesting to see how it panned out.

At this point in time, based on AJ/RUIZ 2 performance, AJ looks as though he cannot take a punch. That was a great strategy to win and Ruiz helped his cause. Ruiz has never been known for power but even the 2nd fight there were maybe 3 decent punches that looked like they sent AJ right back to June 1st.

I'm wondering if he runs and hides the rest of his career now because Ruiz although fast with counters, is not a KO specialist. Maybe AJ only trying to stay out of range of counters but I think he was only thinking about not getting knocked on his ass again.

I'd give Ortiz a slight edge as he maybe could hand with AJ on points if he ran and also looked good defensively. Close fight but if I'm mistaken about AJ mentality then AJ would knock him out.
