Make no mistakes about it, Pascal has never looked better than he does now. Even got more power.

I attribute much of it to his new physique. He's much slimmer now and has less muscle to maintain. He used to be a 4 round puncher and slower with less pop. Now, while he still has trouble in the late rounds, he can still keep some in his gas tank for a last hurrah. Punching looks tighter as well even if he has his wild streaks.

Has this ever happened before in boxing?

Bernard Hopkins didn't win his first world title until he was 30.

Sergio Martinez got plastered by Margo when he was young. The plastering destroyed his confidence so badly that he didn’t take another challenging fight till he was almost 34.

From what I understand from Tank Davis fans, you don't really hit your prime until your mid 30's anyways.

So far as Pascal is concerned. Most had him losing to 36 year old Badou, I certainly did.

Carl Froch was according to himself, breaking all of his records in training when he fought Lucian Bute & Mikkel Kesseler.

'Froch had documented every single training session since he turned professional in detail, all of his performances for specific exercises etc'

By his own words he was at his absolute peak.
