When missing weight becomes a thing, some serious questions need to be asked. I don't trust a cash cow or a fighter in general who struggles to make weight....especially on their first move up in weight. Lol

Davis is in that Floyd Mayweather protective custody plan for the next few years at least.
This kid is Broner 2.0
can't make a weight he needs to fight at to be successful (130) so he's gonna move up and get embarrassed the first time he fights someone at the top level.

I understand them only allowing him 1 hour to make weight, as he was an hour late in arriving. But fining someone when they ultimately made weight anyways is just silly. Why should Gamboa be compensated? Tank still weighed in at 135, so Gamboa was not impacted at all.Last edited by OnePunch; 12-30-2019, 11:08 AM.

I haven't like Davis since he embarrassed himself on the Mayweather/McGregor undercard. That said, I don't think he needs to go out of his way to fight Loma. No one needs to go out of their way to fight Loma. He ain't the man to beat, he ain't **** but another Euro. It doesn't even feel right comparing him to GGG because even GGG has beaten a few warm bodies. Loma has nothing. His best win is what? Linares? Rigo? His resume is a joke. No one should be pressured into fighting Salido's *****.

If Davis had some discipline about him he could give Loma more problems than he wants. That's the problem though if is the biggest little word in the dictionary and Davis has alot of if's in his life trying to live like Money Mayweather

Thats the dumbest thing Ive ever heard of. Everywhere else, you step on the scale, and if you miss, you have 2 hours to re-weigh. Thats been the practice forever. The reason it is done that way is because typically you do not have access to the official scale in advance of the weigh in, so there is a 2 hour grace period to allow for minor differences between the official scale and the scale the fighter uses in the days leading up to the weigh in.
