Exactly right, gamboa was an easy beat shell of himself

Yeah, typically when someone is hobbling it's a sign of an injury. Tank might only be mildly retarded.

Davis has solid skills but he is too small to handle the power of Lopez or the skill of Loma, not to mention several other top 135 guys that could take his shots and potentially get him out of there. The most concerning aspect of this fight was how many clean shots he took from a faded and badly injured fighter. As with Loma, better option is to go down in weight. He needs to develop the discipline to cut weight, being that he's young and should not be eating his way out of weight classes already. It's not going to end well if they put him in with top guys in 2020.

i know tank called it a C+ because he, like most of us, probably thought it wouldnt last nearly as long....but thats sports...thats why they play the games....

i didnt like the way tank was still sucking wind in the post fight interview....i know its fairly normal but he was breathing alot heavier than most guy....he hadnt gone 12 but he should be training like hes going 12.....you could tell he needed to rest up a bit in the middle/late rounds....thats def something he needs to address

but when you look at the whole thing....tank fought like he always does....and he was successful....im not a big punch stats guy....but he was landing pretty easily....wasnt getting hit.....barely lost a round....i mean.....i dunno what youre looking for

id admit there was a stamina issue which prob lead to less punches......but i didnt see tank struggling to find his punches.....did you?

now are you of the belief that gamboa was really fighting on a torn achilles? im not sure he was...although im sure theres probably something....if you think he was a torn achilles than you would probably definitley see it as a terrible performance...im not sure a guy can survive 12 with one like that.......that whole injury thing is a whole 'nother debate in itself

          tell me what you saw?
it is been confirmed that Gamboa tear up the aquiles tendon.

Yeah they asked him after the fight if he knew that Gamboa's leg was hurt and Tank said "No, I was too focused on landing clean shots" and some other dumb **** like to line up Lomachenko and the others

That's even worse. Just went through his damned ears. Usually boxers display that type of retardation once they actually face some competition.

He tried to quit in his ****ing corner after the second round. He told his trainer and the ref "I can't go, I can't continue"

and then he fought Tank Davis for 10 more rounds. I don't see how anyone can stick up for that lol.

I’m sorry but what flaws were you seeing then boxing wise? I get that he needs to get in better shape but outside of that really...

He basically landed at will, had Gamboa hurt multiple times and dropped him 3 times...after the second knockdown the ref was taking a long time evaluating Gamboa then ordered Tank back to the corner even tho he wasn’t all that close and the round ended saving Gamboa.

Tank wasn’t being hit up with shots he wasn’t struggling to find his range...it’s one thing to say he needs to check his stamina but to act like he was exposed boxing wise is ridiculous....

Haney went 12 with an unknown fighter with all of 12 fights and Teo just fought Nakatani who was actually giving Teo issues during his fight ....it’s An Overreaction

Lol Yeah, I caught it. Obviously the ref didn’t understand what Gamboa was saying. Lol Yuri was ready to pack it in. I guess the ref’s move made him go, “Fuck it,” and he carried on.

donaire has been fighting guys 2 wgt classes above.

pacquiao and mayweather were pfp at the top of their game at 36-37

it's not just about age. gamboa has significantly gone doen in performance. he got Koed by a journeyman, add to the fact he was a one legged arm puncher vs davis, nonetheless, davis still looked mediocre.

He was hit easily, he stood right in front of gamboa, if your opponent cannot move you use lateral movement to create holes in his defence, his work rate was deplorable, you obviously don’t notice much in a strategic sense
