yeah man...totally... i mean tank was awful....good thing he landed that lucky uppercut cause he was gonna lose on the cards...that was the only punch he landed all night too! friggin lucky...im suprised he could even see the way his face was all swollen and cut and bruised from all the shots he hate all night! tank must be irish!

its like you guys had this idea that theres no way gamboa could go 3 rounds with tank...so anything after 6 is like "whoa tank must suck man"...even though you werent talking like he ****** like this before.....

i mean...does every projection and pick you make always happen exactly as you see it unfolding? thats awesome man!!.....you must be rich!!! i wish i had known ward was gonna make kovalev quit! could have made some nice coin!

no one has to make excuses...theres no excuse to make...tank dominated the fight...barely lost a round and got the stoppage....what do you need to make an excuse for? how long it took? lol

you literally have people saying he has poor ring iq because he didnt know gamboa was injured...lol....

sorry he didnt finish the job in the timely manner you expected....do all of your projections and picks always happen exactly the way you think theyre going to?
Do you think that was a good performance by tank

Tank didn't know Gamboa was injured? That's not just poor ring IQ, that's signs of mental retardation.

i dont think it was bad

i know tank called it a C+ because he, like most of us, probably thought it wouldnt last nearly as long....but thats sports...thats why they play the games....

i didnt like the way tank was still sucking wind in the post fight interview....i know its fairly normal but he was breathing alot heavier than most guy....he hadnt gone 12 but he should be training like hes going 12.....you could tell he needed to rest up a bit in the middle/late rounds....thats def something he needs to address

but when you look at the whole thing....tank fought like he always does....and he was successful....im not a big punch stats guy....but he was landing pretty easily....wasnt getting hit.....barely lost a round....i mean.....i dunno what youre looking for

id admit there was a stamina issue which prob lead to less punches......but i didnt see tank struggling to find his punches.....did you?

now are you of the belief that gamboa was really fighting on a torn achilles? im not sure he was...although im sure theres probably something....if you think he was a torn achilles than you would probably definitley see it as a terrible performance...im not sure a guy can survive 12 with one like that.......that whole injury thing is a whole 'nother debate in itself

          tell me what you saw?

well he is friends with broner so ....lol

lol...i know you think thats like going to bother me on some serious stuff...it doesnt....tank might have a bit of the tard in him...its not that serious ....but some of you guys are unreasonable with davis....you have high expectations for him i guess

ive seen other fighters know the guy is on a torn achilles and struggle to put them away.....

There is an extraordinary gap between the elite in the division and gamboa, on that performance I feel he couldn’t cope with the elite, plus gamboa is the biggest name on his resume, not really a glowing list

I'm not sure Tank's power carried up well to 135. Gamboa has always been chinny, and it took Tank all 12 rounds to stop a washed up, gimpy Gamboa. Who by the way, was not counted out and still conscious. A prime Gamboa would have been a really great fight to see.

His corner was telling him between rounds that Gamboa was on one leg.

thats fair if you believe that....maybe he cant cope with the elite.....gamboa is def the biggest name....but davis also knocked out a guy that loma couldnt.....

its boxing...just because you thought hed blast out gamboa quicker doesnt make it true or make it actually happen.....thats why they do fights in the ring and not on paper

i dont think he looked bad...he didnt struggle to find gamboa ....he didnt get hit much by him...he didnt lose but maybe a round......what more did you want? other than to see gamboa out in 3 like you thought would happen?

what did davis do that make you think he was struggling in there?

Good way of putting it. Can anyone imagine Gamboa making it to the twelfth, or even close, versus the elite at 135? Let alone an injured Gamboa? Fuhgetahboutit....
