For the bulk of the first fight - and except the two knockdowns - Wilder looked befuddled and occasionally buzzed.

If that "buzzed" happens again in the second fight, my su****ion is that Fury will finish the job this time.

But if Fury continues with clowning rather than going for the jugular at the due moment, he might be knocked out cold once and for all.

    Fascinating stuff.

Tyson Fury winning a firefight against Deontay Wilder? Have fun with that one. Wilder would welcome that type of fight. He knows he has the firepower to hurt Fury. Fury has the size and weight to wear Deontay Wilder down on the inside. I just hope the referee does a good job of not allowing Fury to maul Wilder on the inside.

If Fury doesn't run for the entire fight he may go to sleep this time. Wilder needs to come in around 220 - 225 too so he doesn't get pushed around on the inside. Interesting fight while it lasts Wilder by ko

In order for Tyson Fury to stop Deontay Wilder, he has to pull of a Joe Calzaghe vs Jeff Lacey type performance. Wilder is not the toughest of heavyweights, but psychologically? Under fire or whenever he is hurt, he is a very game fighter. Wilder in that sense reminds me a lot of Nigel Benn, when these sort of fighters are hit 'It almost ignites a competitive spirit inside of them which goes into overdrive'.

During the first fight 'Deontay Wilder was not deterred or derailed from his game-plan at any stage in the fight'. There has been no fighter who has been able to deter Deontay Wilder or force him into doubting himself inside of the ring 'Tyson Fury is not only competing against Wilder's power, he has to somehow break his determination'.

Note: Nigel Benn was abit more durable than Deontay Wilder, but in terms of personality inside of the ring? Benn & Wilder are very similar fighters etc.

              Absolutely. Good point.

There are two major issues to keep in mind.

              1) Wilder currently appears to be relying exclusively on his one-punch power, confident in that kind of ending whatever happens during a given fight. This may not work against an unpredictable fighter as Fury. In fact, it didn't work the first time (well, OK... it almost did... but ultimately Fury won, in spite of how the judges scored the fight)

              2) The key element here is Fury's EFFECTIVE ability to break Wilder's determination. And that is only possible by HURTING him. Is Fury able to really hurt Wilder? In the first fight I felt like Fury could have punished Wilder more than he did, but he preferred to box and clown. Perhaps the change of trainer occurred to set Fury in a "finisher" frame of mind, who knows.

It will be very interesting to watch. Let's hope nothing strange happens in the meantime.

I like these types of comments. Fury as a finisher versus a fighter with KO power? Fury not clowning? It's in his DNA. He cannot focus for 36 minutes straight. The clowning allows him to take mental breaks. He focuses on boxing smart to protect his chin from counters. So I hope he does try and hurt Wilder and break his determination. It will make it a more exciting fight.

I seen no ko's taking place for fury but can he win on points? Yes.

Just the same, I'm sure Fury learned more than Wilder, but will he come back with cunning or restraint?
Always the fun thing with Wilder fights. Fury undoubtedly learned all he needs about Wilder, but will that knowledge be enough to avoid a right hand for 12 rounds? That's everything when you fight against him, because he's not coming to beat you on points.
