Happens with anyone good. People started ****ting on Usyk because "Bellew landed on him" Inoue beat Donaire by 8 rounds, knocked him down (should have been a KO) and people are saying he struggled and got exposed. Beterbiev dominated Gvozdyk and put on a boxing clinic, but he's awful because he got KD'd a few fights ago.

Once you crack the top 5, fanboys of other fighters will start to attack for no reason. I've seen people discredit Loma and Usyk because they "get hit" so....yeah It's mostly groupies of one top guy who feel threatened the second another guy looks talented.

While I don't know if Berchelt wins, I've been asking for this fight for a couple years now. (at 130) I don't think Bob wanted to make the fight, so Loma moved up.

Also, boxing seems to be incredibly racial/tribal. I was blown away my first time joining a message board and finding out people only aligned with certain fighters, wether it be race, promotional outfit, etc. Guys would rather see their guy fight a no hoper than a competitive fight.

Bob is on his team, genius. So the fact that Top Rank asked for the Franchise Champion designation reflects directly back on Lomachenko.
