Just a clout chasing exercise to even mention any of those guys but thats how team tank works. Talk crap about a load of known names but then refuse to fight any of them.

Tanks twitter resume is wonderful, if he ever had backed any of that talk up by fighting he would be actually be that superstar that Floyd and ellerbe is trying to tell us he is.

Bob Arum kept young Cotto away from Floyd when both were at Top Rank. He has admitted it.

To get a fight against prime Oscar you had to wait for him to choose you. Not the other way around. He was the A-side.

Floyd was going to fight Margarito for an $8 million purse but Arum wanted him to sign an extension with Top Rank to do it. Mayweather bought out the remainder of his contract and fought for the lineal welterweight title instead, for a purse of $8 million plus $1.

Floyd would call out prime Mosley in post fight interviews but Shane had no interest as Mayweather was too high risk/low reward back then. When Larry Merchant finally pressed Shane about it he said he was going to take a long vacation and had a toothache.

As for Paul Williams...I don't really have any explanation for that. But I also don't remember there being too much buzz about making that fight. There were always bigger name options on the horizon for Floyd.

Nearly spit my coffee out reading the headline . Yeah Davis is sure on that fast track, taking tons of chances out there. Kid hasn't had a decent fight in 3 years lol.

Gamboa is a 20-1 underdog. What kind of dice is he rolling??

Tank is fighting for the regular WBA belt not the Super, which his Daddy Lomachenko rules. Yeah he’s rolling the dice alright.

I laughed when I read the headline but even though it wasn't expressed well in the article, Floyd meant rolling the dice by taking on a new market (first big card in Atlanta in 21 years).
