And you're asking how he'd do against Shawn Porter?
He would only fight Porter when Porter has slowed down and out of his prime.

Porter now vs Floyd now...Porter would embarrass Floyd.

soon after EVERY great fighter retires... up comes a list of rookies/contenders that could have beaten him

and many of those guys amount to nothing... seen it all before

fighters who will be on the " could have beaten Floyd " list after 1-2 more good wins...

      Davis lol
      Stevenson
      Kingry
      Haney
      Teofimo
      Ennis

some of those fighters will be better than the current list of "could have beaten Floyd" hopefuls mentioned in this thread... and none of them could have beaten Mayweather either LMAO

Is that why Manny will not fight Porter ?

"Nuff said" - yeah You're so smart, completely nailed it .
                Mastrangelo I repeat, you're a joke man.

The OP asked what if Floyd fought Porter in 2013, Thurman in 2014, and Pacquiao in 2015.

Did you actually watch Thurman and Porter in 2013 and 2014? Lol, those tools would have been schooled badly.

In 2013 Floyd was arguably in the best form of his 30s. His master class over Guerrero and Canelo was pure genius and elite athleticism and defense. No ONE would have beaten that version of Floyd.

Thurman was a joke in 2014. He struggled against the very same Guerrero who was utterly schooled by Mayweather the previous year. And Mayweather beat a higher ranked and better Maidana twice that year while Thurman was struggling against Guerrero and almost getting stopped by Collazo.

You're full of it. Ridiculing me when in fact you're the one who don't know jack about the topic.

Its not that Porter is that good, he is strong unorthodox and messy, nobody really wants to fight this style of fighter, even when you beat them clearly is always a rough and tough affair.

cant argue that. And it can cause some trouble for Manny i think. Even though it would be a good fight A REAL GOOD FIGHT Its the most dangerous fight that i can see right now for Manny. I can see it several ways.

Porter just out works Manny roughs him up and makes him look bad...wins the fight on points.

Or Manny adapts Is Ring IQ is higher and there is no doubting that and does the opposite and frustrates Porter and picks him apart.

The next way is Porter applies reckless pressure and Manny counters with a big shot and stops Porter.
