Comments Thread For: Joshua Trainer Fires Back at Andy Ruiz For Post-Loss Claims

Angel Fernandez, a new trainer in the camp of Anthony Joshua, says the British star should refuse to give Andy Ruiz a trilogy fight. Earlier this month, Joshua reclaimed the WBO, IBF, IBO, WBA heavyweight titles when he outboxed Ruiz over twelve rounds in Saudi Arabia.

Ruiz Jr not available for further comments right now.

He's been sighted floating in the sky with a "Good Year" sign on his side, and intermittent lighting.

This, either string some wins together and become mandatory or at least get enough good wins for it to make sense. It should be easier for him to get the fights because he has name value now.

Eh. Idk about all that. I don't think Andy was as prepared as he coulda been... although I suppose you could say the same about AJ in the 1st fight & AJ took his L while Andy was trying to duck his L. But trying to duck your L is pretty f#cking common in boxing & life. Mfers get caught cheating on their girl & then blame it on her lol. Excusing away your L is probably human nature to some degree.

That said the thing out of line by Andy was his 3rd fight talk when AJ was talking to the interviewer. Interrupted the man after a historical title fight rematch W & talked about a rematch of the rematch that he clearly didn't deserve after his effort in training & the fight.

I heard AJ say the rematch would be in N.Y. but no. Andy ran AJ out of the USA and half way across Saudi Arabia. Now AJ's talking S.A. again, the Congo, his neighborhood. What happened to the conquest?

I don't know why Andy or anybody else would want to fight AJ, considering how Andy got treated after KOing AJ. He never got paid for it, never got the champs share. Hearn did nothing but treat Andy like a slave as if he owned him. Schemed against and humiliated him. Turned what should have been a happy occasion into a pain in the neck.

LOL this guy must be a Wilder fan. There is only Wilder fans that watch a fighter who usually gets less than a million get 13 to face Joshua in a neutral country (CUZ THATS WHAT THEY DEMANDED) and claim that fighter never got paid and got treated like a slave.

Why hasnt Al Haymon been getting Ruiz 13 million or more a fight over the last few years? How come its down to Hearn to do it? And how is that humiliating?

You sad ****ing goon. Even Andy Ruiz and his own team aint claiming any of this stuff. Yeah you gotta be a Wilder fan cuz you aint making much sense.
