      Strive to do their best.
      He is now based in America, he went to the olympics, didn’t do much but the scouts saw him. Help with his paperworks and probably called him a future prospect to the American embassy etc.

      They would have not be able to do that if he was announced as a 33/34 year old.

      Same thing happens in football, most of them are like 5/6 years over their real age.

            I would not be so sure. He might grab some vacant trinket one day... A heavyweight punch, even thrown by a lesser fighter, can change a lot of things. Ask Anthony Joshua.
