WHY did Davison lose his job with Fury?

Does anyone have any credible information why? Did they have a disagreement or falling out?

It just seems so weird from a tactical perspective to change trainers NOW.

    Confused...

when you look bad against someone like Otto Wallin you have to know the trainer is getting canned

Where have you been? His was nearly stopped by a journeyman and his father has been demanding Davison be replaced.

i have respect for fury..for taking the first wilder fight...for getting up

the possibility exists that some of the people around him, or even himslef, are looking for a scapegoat for the wallin fight....it might just be fury isnt that great....but he or his people think hes better...so they need someone to blame for the performance....i dont really know though....

If Fury isn’t that great as you say he might be then how bad does that make Wilder?

I hope he's not having another one of his nervous meltdowns with this decision.

He never should have been his trainer in the first place

However, Fury is his own boss and man. He pays Ben Davison and does whatever the Hell he so pleases by training when he feels ready to train.

So no one is the blame for that performance but himself. Chances are he never fully trained or came prepared for that fight. Obviously, he took the guy lightly.
