His nose was broken and he was swallowing blood and couldn't breath. He had surgery last night. His sister posted from the hospital. He claimed his injury came from an elbow or headbutt but seems like it came from a legit punch.

It is likely that his broken nose was sending blood down his sinuses into his throaght, it is uncomfortable and he was probably feeling the initial hemoraging, sometimes it subsides but another punch might have him swallowing blood, also, when that happens you can actually feel the cartilege shifting and you can hear it in your head,, this happened to Israel Vasquez Vs Rafa,,, which reminds me, I should watch that fight again now lol
