Of course, the best solution to the robbery issue is to "bring your own judges" as the great Marvin Hagler once said.
He's not going to consider the offer. It's a sucker deal.

Charlo will likely fight a unification in the next year or two. PBC is gunning for the WBA title at 160. Eubank is already interim champion. Canelo will likely vacate, resulting in Eubank becoming world champion.
There still is the question of Ryoto Murata who is actually the WBA World Champion (Canelo is their super champion).

Stop trying to pick fights for the sake of picking fights. I already mentioned Canelo would be vacating in this scenario and that Eubank would become World Champion in that scenario.

WHICH OBVIOUSLY MEANS Murata would become super champion.

Pointing something out that didn't need to be pointed out, in a lame attempt to pick a fight. Now you're having an emotional reaction to try to distract from the fact that you got caught trying to troll. You trying, and failing, to start drama make you the drama queen. Not me. Not my fault Mayweather sold so many more PPVs than Canelo.

Boxrec shouldn't be taken with a grain of salt. They're the only unbiased ratings with zero human interference.
I didn't know that Boxrec transfers points across weight classes. Learn something new everyday I guess.

It was only once Hearns accepted he was the B-side, and accepted a lowball flat fee, that the fight finally happened.

Hearns ended up making 5 million while Leonard made 13 million. Leonard was the A-side, had the leverage, and forced Hearns to cave.

The fight only happened because Shelly Finkel was able to leverage his rock tours to get favorable pricing from the arenas to maximize closed circuit revenue.
How many years was it delayed? Hearns turned pro at 19 and won his first world title at 21, then the Leonard fight happened when he was 22 so it couldn't have been that long.

My point is that it took 3-4 fights (from when Hearns first won a title to when he fought Leonard) instead of 3-4 years.

I wasn't watching boxing at that time though so I appreciate the insight.

Maybe I'm oversimplifying things but I'm wondering how a one-fight deal for a career-high payday and no future options is a bad deal? It seems like the career-high payday is what Andrade is bringing to the table. Besides, what did Dennis Hogan bring to the table? I don't think the general public knows him either.

One more thing, it's funny how some fans will say that a threat "brings nothing to the table" (i.e. Charlo vs. Andrade) and then complain when we get mismatches involving opponents with a "name" (i.e. Tank Davis vs. a faded Yuriorkis Gamboa or Terrence Crawford vs. a "name" in Amir Khan)

Is it a sucker deal because Al Haymon will pay Charlo the same amount to face another Dennis Hogan-level opponent?
