When your last two PPVs barely sell enough to compete with numbers from another guys middling PPV performer you know who the real star is.

No. Sometimes people get big paychecks because someone thinks they have star potential and want to keep them from going elsewhere. It doesn't mean they've lived up to it.

That's a fairly ridiculous way of looking at things. Can you name any other fighter who is not a star that makes $10M a fight? Because I'm pretty sure you have to be a star to earn that type of money in boxing. Ronda Rousey was a bona fide MMA star earning significantly less.

It happens in sports all the time. Overpaying their fighters is how PBC got a lot of their guys. Many PBC fighters used to be linked up with Golden Boy.

charlo is a much bigger star. hes not going across the street fight a smaller star. If he was being offered 15 million to fight Canelo, hed probably do it. But for a couple million more than he makes now, he's not gonna go to dazn to get robbed on the cards by andrade.

I think Charlo should take or at least strongly consider taking the deal, and if judges are an issue then that is something worth negotiating (i.e. rematch clause, neutral judges). Of course, the best solution to the robbery issue is to "bring your own judges" as the great Marvin Hagler once said.

Andrade is universally recognized as one of the best at 160, and this is boxing, not "Shark Tank". Charlo should at least strongly consider the offer, especially if would represent a career-high payday (which would account for him being the "bigger star").

Why not negotiate a rematch on a PBC platform then? or at least negotiate something. If Charlo is already making multi-millions then that's all the more reason to seek out top challenges. He won't suddenly go broke if he happens to lose a 50-50 fight. His twin brother lost to Tony Harrison and the sun still came up the next day....
