  • Hey Joshua fans how do you feel knowing that joshua is hiding behind Fury now? Offering him help to beat the big bad wilder...I mean fury don't need help he will toy with the b**** deontay anyway but I think he feels sorry for joshua so he accepted his help. He probably saw how fast joshua can run in the fight against ruiz, he might use him as his water boy or something

I was saying Wilder should've been offered 60/40 while AJ's fans were busy ignoring Eddie Hearn's own words and claiming the $50 million offer wasn't real. AJ should've taken it then, he declined the (real) offer and now he actually wants the fight so real offers are being made (although as others have pointed out, conveniently after Wilder has already agreed to 2 fights with Fury this year so this isn't happening until at least next december.
Wilder had a single belt, was earning $3m a fight and wanted 50/50. That isn't how it works. The champion gets the lions share, always has.

      Interesting to see the reactions of the two fighters after the Ruiz rematch;

AJ: "let's get the big fights done now. I want to fight Wilder and Fury as soon as possible.

DW:" no chance of a unification now, it isn't going to happen".

Stop running Wilder, you can't forever.

AJ is hiding from nobody. He has said he wants to fight Wilder and Fury but Fury is impossible to pin down.

Meanwhile Wilder says "AJ won the rematch, there's no way the unification fight will happen now".

Wilder is happy with one belt and is happy just to fight Fury and Ortiz on a never ending conveyor belt of rematches until he retires.

The opponent would have to bank on the PPV to tank to look smart taking the flat rate. 50million is a ton of money and may be way more than a fighter has made but if in the end if it ends up being only %10 of what the opponent made it looks pretty bad. If the promoter really thinks there’s risk of the fight underperforming then why wouldnt he share sum of the risk with the opponent? Of course the whole time the promoter also has to promote and sell the fight and tell everyone how big it’s gonna be. This only ensures why someone would want to take a %. That way he’s also invested in promoting the fight. It takes two to tango and the Germans have a word “gestalt” and it means that a perceived whole is greater than the sum of its parts. This describes boxing superfights perfectly. When a fighter turns down 50 extra large a lot of people will call him an as*hole and say it’s way more than he’s ever made. Ask the same people what % they think the same fighter should get, and I bet it ends up being more than the flat rate every time. Before I get jumped on, I’m talking mostly about the superfights dynamic. Offering flat rates on this scale of fights is just a way to postpone things. Precedent has shown it’s not going to be accepted. It’s not like promoters offer a % at the same time.
Why you are intelligent so many ******s just see the flat fee and say wow its his biggest payday

But they never focus on the other guy getting all the rest

If Wilder took 40 million for a super mega fight with puzzy Fruit..its a good payday...but when Puzzyfruits cut is over 130 million and more than half of the money is coming from America

Its not so good..then add the more lucrative rematch but Wilder is stuck at 40 million again

Remember Eddie would raise the sky PPV higher and Dazn would too (if shown this way in America for 1 fight)

Puzzy Fruit could walk off with what equals a 75/25, 80/20 split

Fury and Whyte are demanding % deals

Err, if he doesn't beat Fury he gets nada. Nothing.

Lest we forget, Fury won 10 of 12 rounds in the first bout.

now, sure... but back when they offered Wilder $12m, Fury weighed about 350lbs and nobody thought he would ever fight again

                  imho, Fury will probably win

love live the gypsy king !

I admit, Joshua is the richest, but he hasn't proved he's the best! His best win is still Klitschko, and I believe Fury beat a better, and younger version of the same opponent! Most people believe Fury beat Wilder, and Wilder is better than Ruiz, who of course, beat the brakes off Joshua! I would say Fury is #1, Wilder is #2, and Joshua is #3!

You grip on reality is comical.
I think the U.S. is very solid in the history of boxing! Ali, Leonard, Whitaker, Tyson, Jones Jr., Mayweather! Ever heard of them?
