Wilder was originally offered $12 million to fight Joshua and all the British fans said he was ducking.

It doesn’t matter if Hearn said “might.” It went from being crazy and impossible to fair and understandable.

The Wilder-Fury trilogy isn’t going to bomb.

Deyonce got what, 10-15mill (being generous) for staying with Showtime and fighting Breazeale instead of $20m on DAZN. He then got maybe the same money to fight Ortiz instead of potentially $40m + $40m for the AJ fights. Or he could have had another fight for $20m on DAZN before the AJ fights.

Either way you look at it, Wilder is taking financial hits. If he was really betting on himself he would have fought a few of Wlad/AJ/Parker/Whyte/Haye/Martin to gain the titles and the financial clout to be the A side superstar in his own country and the world RIGHT NOW. That's what betting on yourself looks like, not this ducking **** he's doing right now rematching fighters.

What's your point? That Deyonce is right to keep ducking and gamble on the value of the fight going up? Wtf kind of boxing fan are you when you would rather see fights marinate and the lure of undefeated v undefeated disappear?

FWIW, Eddie is saying that Wilder or Fury MIGHT be worth that 50% in the case that AJ takes the financial hit to entice one of them into the ring. Of course, this depends on who emerges victorious from the trilogy, it probably won't even be Wilder.

This also depends on what AJ does in his next two fights. If he KOs Pulev and Usyk, and the Saudis then want to throw $100m at him do you think he's gonna want to share that with Fury or Wilder if their trilogy bombs??

Seriously? This again? Hearn offered 120 million total. It was 20 million for Breazeale, 50 million for AJ and another 50 million guaranteed for a rematch. In the end, nobody in Wilder's camp denied that. What they said was that Wilder could make more doing other things which was a way to stall and gain leverage and it looks like it paid off.

Paying either Wilder or Fury 50% today would be crazy because it wouldn't make financial sense. Neither fighter draws enough on their own to warrant that kind of money.

The Wilder Fury rematch will most certainly be successful and Hearn knows it because redemption sells and there is a real strong promoter involved.

Yes the rematch will be successful but that said, Hearn
is offering 50%..to the WINNER of Wilder/Fury. The WINNER will have elevated themselves enough to draw the financial support to cover their end of the 50%.

            It's not complicated, it's not fandom...it's math, simple math. It's a business, it's math.

Hearn realizes AJ cant beat either wilder or fury. So hes going to cash out AJ and manuever Usyk to his number 1. AJ will probably then come to PBC and learn how to REALLY FIGHT in America. Then finally we can rid ourselves of these UK vermin off our websites. If they keep messing around over here Im going to send Rhode Island to kick their arse!

Yup, which is why it never happened before, cuz AJ didn't really want it

Cash out by offering Wilder 50-50? Having to give Wilder 50% could quite possibly end up with Joshua having to take a pay cut to get that fight made.

As far as im concerned Anything over 30% to Wilder is a very good offer. Financial pull wise Joshua and Wilder are like Floyd Mayweather and Victor Ortiz. They are miles and miles apart. Wilder is a B side to Joshua's A side by a big distance. He is technically a C side. Like Brighton.
