BS. That lineal stuff is mythical garbage. Nobody is lineal or undisputed until they beat AJ and own all the belts. I can accept Fury as the lineal champ when he beat Wlad. No way in hell can I accept him stepping out of boxing for over three years and remaining the lineal champion. The lineal title like any other title has to be defended within a reasonable time and not defending it for over three years is about two years too long. Fury is NOT the lineal champ or any other kind of champ. If he beats Wilder he becomes the WBC champ but nothing else. The winner of Fury vs Wilder must defeat AJ to become lineal and undisputed. You can't just pretend he doesn't exist and doesn't have a claim to the title. If Ring calls the winner of Fury-AJ lineal and undisputed then they are wrong.

Back when they fought the first time, my view was that they couldn't move ahead of Joshua without fighting him. They were sorting out two and three.

This time I still have Joshua at one based on resume, but if someone wins this I'd happily say they go to number one. They'll have the biggest win of the era.

Lineal will stay debatable for a while yet. But it's a hindsight prize anyway.

        Both are overrated.

Wilder’s power is ATG. Maybe even best HW power all time, but I can’t say for sure yet. But he simply doesn’t have best P4P power all time.

Fury is not the giant version of Ali or Mayweather people make him out to be. He’s a big awkward boxer but you can figure him out. He doesn’t adjust mid-fight like the greats do.

Wilder probably KO Fury this fight, but I pick Fury to outbox him in the third fight.

If Fury can find the perfect mix of defensive outfighting and punishing infighting, he wins this fight tho (IMO)

I cant wait. 1st one was great with a seriously brilliant last round. 50-50 fight. Obviously Wilder is going to get outboxed but can Fury last the distance? Will he be more aggressive this time? Can he drop Wilder? Id love to see Fury more aggressive this time but we all know that comes with more risk of being countered and Deontay does seem enjoy playing the counter puncher. Its gunna be good.
