    Yeah, boxing doesn’t do that.

To find out who is the best competitor, you will have to watch ANY OTHER SPORT besides boxing, where they actually, like, compete head to head.

Boxing determines its champions by having its fans yell at each other on Internet message boards.

Ruiz and Hunter would both outbox the hell out of Wilder.... BUT....

I think Ruiz would have a far better chance... he would be able to get in and should be able to sustain the punches better.

Hunter would certainly box circles around Wilder... but he is too small and would end up KO'ed. Povetkin sent Hunter into the ropes with far less power.

Ruiz range is too small, Hunter is physically too weak. Povetkin is too old, like Ortiz was. Wilder can be beat only by a strong big guy who will press him all the time and KO him or by a tall guy with a great technique who would simply outbox him and win by decision.

Man quit trolling. We just saw Hunter get a draw and Ruiz traded his title for a few buffet coupons. Wilder will lay those dues out.

Honestly I think if Ruiz didn't get knocked out he easily outpoints Wilder. I know that is true for most of the top 10 but Ruiz has the best chin so it's more of a real possibility with him, I think anyway.

Wilder does seem to have become increasingly reliant on his right hand, perhaps because he simply can get away with it. But his jab used to be quite effective.
For example, in the Arreola fight Wilder broke his right hand and tore his right bicep early in the fight, and still stopped Arreola basically entirely with his jab from round 4-8.

Also, people don't remember this but up until the first Fury fight, Wilder was actually #1 in jab connect % (like 33% according to CompuBox). Recently he mostly paws and blinds with his jab to set up the right, but there was a time when Wilder's jab was sharp and accurate.

                    Ruiz's best wins:
                    1. Joshua
                    2. Liakhovich
                    3. Dimitrenko

Come on man. Wilder wasted Liakhovich in one round, left him twitching on the mat. Ruiz took him the distance the very next fight.

Wilder still has a good jab it just wasnt as effective against Fury and Ortiz because theyre too awkward..
