wait wait lets just look at this sentence, which is being used to defend someone who didnt face a titlist till he was 34.
Someone who says THAT, yet doesnt face ANYONE of the top title rung until he was 34. Thats clearly NOT facing "anyone 154-168"

These opposite concepts. What it is is this, the opposite of his statement - facing NOONE at 154-168 unti he was 34.
And even then it was the worst possible titlist at MW we have seen in Lemieux.

i'm ascertaining nothing, I am wondering who else was so non-committed as to have waited till they were 34 before facing the weakest titlist in recent years.

Let me know which other "good champion" did that aside from Joe Calzaghe, who everyone knows was an unashamed bumkiller.

'Waited' huh? You're unable to say which titlist could have fought but yet still maintain that it was a deliberate choice not to fight 'em. Why is that? Surely you have some reason?

We know that the WBA promoted Sturm out of his reach, we know that Geale prefered to fight Mundine for much more money, we know that Maravilla had much bigger fish to fry, we know that Pirog got injured, we know that Quillin was on the other side of a promotional fence that a Golovkin fight was never big enough to bridge. Who then?

You're unable to say which titlist
I am saying the word "any"

I am saying just do it, nothing else.

Terry at 32 fought 4, and thats not including ring and lineal which arent real titles nor including 2 vacant title wins. Across three divisions.

GGG at turning 34, not even a sniff of facing a titleholder once.

          Look at the difference!

That said, I respect GGG for getting a title back against Derev, he has proved again that he is at the same world level that he reached with Lemieux and Jacobs, instead of fading away into obscurity.
