Comments Thread For: Arum: Pulev Will Knock Joshua On His Ass, End His Run at Top!

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, who co-promotes Kubrat Pulev, is confident that his boxer will end the current run of IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. Joshua reclaimed his titles earlier this month with a twelve round unanimous decision win over Andy Ruiz in Saudi Arabia. The IBF has ordered Joshua to make a mandatory defense against Pulev.

Bob Arum is supposed to support his fighter Pulev. As long as Pulev makes him a lot of money he will be very supportive.

Pulev fight is interetesing to me because his style resembles Wilder's a little bit, mainly because he relies on two punches, jab and straight right hand. Obviously Pulev is not nearly as powerful, dynamic and fast as Wilder but he's more skilled and he has one of the best jabs in the division, much better than Wilder's. Will be interesting to see what Joshua's game plan will be and how will he react when Pulev lands his right hand because he will land it.

Klitschko moped the floor with Pulev, but Joshua isn't Klitschko. I got Joshua on points after a tough fight.

He couldn't KO Rydell Booker or Kevin Johnson but he's gonna KO Joshua?

Any boxer who doesn’t have fast hands will be running into a buzzsaw if they step into the ring with AJ.

Vitali Klitschko couldn't KO Kevin Johnson either but then again Johnson fights to survive. If anything he is a guy that up and coming fighters get rounds in against

So the trash talk starts. AJ would have a comfortable victory over Pulev. or even a late TKO.

This fight is going to be a run back of Klitschko vs Pulev; only this time, it will be like an old Pulev vs a young Klitschko. Joshua's left hook destroys him.
