This is why I laugh when idiotic casuals on here act like some bummy boxer with no boxing skills would knock everyone out because he has been matched with bums and a 59-yr old man. Boxing is much more difficult than that and it’s a very brutal sport. One mistake against a guy who’s heavily handed and you might get knocked out.

Crawford fought the number 8 ranked contender and beat him easily. He was hurt by a punch but wrestled down, not knocked down and was never in danger of losing so what is the problem? Crawford beat a good fighter the way excellent fighters are supposed to beat good fighters. Why do you keep trying to make Ortiz 59 or 79 or 101 years old. Ortiz is 40 years old and safely out of Cuba and has no logical reason to lie about his age. Ortiz was a top 5 contender when Wilder beat him twice and he deserves credit for 2 good wins. Yes Wilder fought poor opposition even after becoming WBC champ but he has stepped up the quality of his opponents lately.

Exactly, guys get hit at the elite level. What matters most is how Bud responded to adversity and in my eyes he out-toughed the tough guy.
