Ortiz is 40 years old and safely out of Cuba and has no logical reason to lie about his age. Ortiz was a top 5 contender when Wilder beat him twice and he deserves credit for 2 good wins. Yes Wilder fought poor opposition even after becoming WBC champ but he has stepped up the quality of his opponents lately.
Whats funny about this is how Thurman was nearly stopped by a similar level guy and no where near as hungry or impressive as Crawford showed yet that was beast Thurman ready for Manny and its bum Crawford .

Way too much BS in here.

At the time nobody was ramming Thurman in p4p and he was coming back from a long layoff, injury, and surgery.

Exactly Right. Bud has a boxing IQ that's above many top fighters. His ability to make key adjustments and turn the fight around in the next round shows his skill. His ability to fight conventional and unorthodox is amazing. I can't wait until these big fights are made so the fans can really see Bud truly go to work.

Shows how good Top Rank's promotion and matchmaking is if you thought Crawford was remotely invincible.
