Loma is fighting the best and going to unify the division.
Has Haney even fought a World Champ as yet.
l0m0 was yet to fight a World Champ in his 1st fight, got a Title shot in his 2nd fight & LOST then got ANOTHER shot in his 3rd fight. l0m0 better stay ducking & keep his ass out the kitchen cuz he & his fans (you) are feeling the heat
Tony, you're not being fair here. Haney won the eliminator and earned the mandatory title shot. Loma went to the WBC and asked to be designated emeritus champion knowing this would mean he'd have to surrender the WBC belt. He also knew this meant he wouldn't have to fight Haney.
Haney definitely won the title in the boardroom and not the ring, but you shouldn't hold that against him. The criticism should be directed at the fighter that avoided fighting him and gave him the title Rid**** Bowe style.
Hey, all I was commenting on was the dude claiming that Commey is the number two lightweight champion when's they are only two champs. In a division with four champs, number two would something. But with just two? Not so much. That's ridiculous.
I have nothing against Haney. That whole belt thing with them two is so screwed up, it's a black eye on boxing without question. We're in a sad state when we have **** like this which is why I'm beyond all the belts. It's all a joke now. In a real sport, there would be one lightweight champion and that's it. I hope Loma and Haney do fight. I'd love to see it. Lucky for Haney, he's got time all on his side, too. Maybe it happens this coming year or next.
Upgraded at his own request. The designation isn't for elite champions, its for powerful promoters whose champions could face high risk, low reward opponents with attributes that the champion has difficulty with.
Loma stating his plan in 2020 is to fight Lopez then make a fight with Davis proves his intention was never unification. It also shows he is not keen on fighting Haney at all.
You can't credibly argue Loma only wants elite opposition like you keep doing because Davis hasn't fought anyone at 135. If he beats Gamboa as expected, that will be his only win at 135. Haney, a true 135lber and not a FW moving up, would pose much more risk.
I will just look forward to the Loma/Lopez fight. Hopefully it is good. Loma should be well rested and ready to go.
Loma fighting Lopez, who both have titles, proves Loma had no intention of unification? But had Loma kept the WBC title (Which wouldn't have been possible as the WBC would have called for their mandatory well before Loma had even got into the ring to unify with Lopez so would have been stripped anyway) and fought Haney who has no titles so therefore not a UNIFICATION would prove Loma did intend to unify?
Lets hope the clear extreme and creepy mental and emotional problems your asylum has gets the help it needs before it's too late. You motherf3ckers all need carers you warped, backwards demonic abomination.

In a move that sees Devin Haney become the new WBC lightweight title holder, Vasyl Lomachenko has been elevated to overall champion at 135 pounds. A similar move to that of Canelo, Lomachenko will now be recognized as a WBC ruler in every fight throughout his career. ‘Loma’ will be able to challenge for any green and gold belt at any weight he chooses, as and when it suits him.
The Franchise Champion is a special designation and status which the WBC may bestow to a current WBC World Champion, who is also an elite boxer, and who has achieved and maintains the highest of statures in the sport.
Haney is no one, he hasn't earned the right to lace Lomo's gloves let alone fight him
Loma is after fighting the best. Haney is nowhere close.
Maybe one day he will step up and take some tough fights and win and earn a shot but that is not today.

If this is what happened then it would be delusional.
However, what really happened is Loma requested the designation and dropped the belt. That is why I posted that he really wasn’t interested in unifying the division.
Another point you touched on in your post. Loma defended against other mandos. Only Haney was the one he avoided.
How about you have just a little bit of integrity and call out the guy that avoided his mando rather than the guy that just posts about it.

Lomo beat Salido, got robbed by the judges, cheated by the ref ignoring low blows and cheated by Salido who came in massively overweight on purpose.
Haney 24 fights in, and yet to face a world champ.
Haney is the trans champ, because we all know he ain't a real champ.
