Or gotten stopped. I believe Fury needs to dance and stay away from Wilder's right hand like he did in the first fight. If his plan is to engage he might stop Wilder but it also puts him at greater risk to be stopped. I'd like to see Fury be more aggressive in the rematch, otherwise it will be a snooze-fest right up to the end (12 rounds or KO).

If he goes back to his Dad or Uncle then it’s probably the right decision but if this is true , then getting a brand new Trainer to me looks like he’s setting himself up to lose and he’ll have have a built in excuse if/when he does ( Ruiz 2.0 )

I think Fury’s Boxing IQ is off the charts and Obviously Davidson is replaceable but I don’t know how switching to a brand new Trainer with no Chemistry established ,literally 10 weeks out from the proposed Wilder fight can be considered anything else but a horrible decision.

To me Fury’s the best in the Biz with mind f.ucking his opposition and plays them like a fiddle every time and has them acting exactly how he wants them to act before the fight , but if this this isn’t a Gypsey Mind game on Fury’s part , then He’s going to almost certainly take a L in Feb.

Davison didn't like that plan, so Fury kicked him to the curb.
Would that be wise? I don't think that Fury would want to get down in the trenches with Deontay Wilder in a firefight. Tyson Fury doesn't have the firepower to do so. That would be foolish on his part.

In addition, it should be the last thing that he would want to do given Wilder's punching power and the chances of him reopening those deep gashes over his eyes. It's without question that part of Team Wilder's strategy is going to be to target those cuts again.

If it was on good terms then that would be fine. Fighters decide themselves if they feel confortable with their trainer and if the trainer will lead them to further success. The performance against Otto Wallin was not an ideal performance. Davidson is young and he will be picking up a lot of fighter with his reputation. I am just interested to see who Tyson picks up.

Fury like Floyd doesn't really need a trainer imo, just a guy mid round to say "keep doing what you doing baby". Maybe Buddy McGirt then?
