I thought it was funny. Bud studying and getting ready to operate, and the subject popped him one. Bud got embarrassed, he got all serious. That'll learn him.

and from that moment forward he began to press the action aggressively instead of taking his time like he usually would, hence you could hear Ward saying numerous times that he thought it was too early for that.

Sometimes u just want to get into a dogfight I think eventually Bud thought EK was a strong guy but not strong enough to KO him and not quick enough to hit him with anything he couldn't see coming. That's why after the fight he chalked it up to wanting to give the fans a show, no different than Floyd did when he fought and got hit more against Cotto. They both could have made it easy boring fights to decisions if they wanted to

Very entertaining fight. And awkward style match up for Crawford that made him be a little more open than he was hoping. Reminded me a bit of the Pacquiao-Marquez style clash a bit.

Crawford got caught with a good shot and did get knocked down from what I saw. He bounced back though and basically went gunning for the stoppage and got it.

I don't necessarily see this as too much of a hindrance on Crawford going forward. If he is going to get caught he is going to get tagged early on based on what I have seen in past fights.

Floyd was KD early in the Judah fight as well didn't make any difference in the outcome

Floyd was getting timed and hit all night against Cotto..

Floyd got KD by Judah and it wasn't called same as in this fight.
