Choosing to come out southpaw was ****ing ******. Anybody who has watched Egis knows he has an educated right hand. On top of that Crawford stubborn ass refused to switch.

No. Kava had a better jab, and was the faster fighter. His weakness is poor stamina. He was outboxing crawford at range, Crawford needed to do exactly what he did, get close to actually be able to land and push the pace to overheat the machine.

Even if Crawford still won it would have been a close fight if he never exploited Egi’s stamina.

I’ve seen his fights above 147. There’s no improvement, he doesnt have what it takes. Not the power, strength or boxing skills.

Your accessing the fight totally wrong. EK was unwilling to open up in the 1st few rounds for fear of being countered like Khan did so he decided to wait to see if he could catch TC slipping at the expense of entertainment value.

Crawford played along but as soon as he heard the boo's he decided to press the action earlier than he normally would while unusually fighting in a southpaw stance for long as he did. Those 2 factors cost him to get caught in between exchanges he wouldn't otherwise get caught with...

Normally he would have just boxed around until EK slowed down and took him out in the same fashion. Either way we were going to get the same outcome.

I've seen every Spence fight. I tend to believe what he says but I agree to the naked eye you won't see much of a difference when he fought at higher weights.

Just because he may feel Or actually be a bit stronger and feel better at a higher weight won't change the fact that he is quite limited in the skill department. His style is just very basic all around but to his credit he is very good at being very basic.

                  • What the heck was Bud doing down there, looking for change? Anyway, I'm glad he didn't pull an AJ and take off running.

                    • I haven't been too impressed with Crawford at WW. He just seem to get hit too easy. Kavaliauskas was timing him and he hardly did anything to adjust. Mayb he's fighting down to the level of his competition but that's not a good look for him.
