    I really like him

I still have Crawford/Lomachenko ranked 1 and 2... no particular order, and I have switched them around from time-to-time over the last 1-2 years...

I base that on my (the REAL) definition of P4P... but I have no problem with guys rating Canelo higher, there is not too much in it

FACT: if all things were equal, and those 3 fighters were all naturally the same size... with nobody moving up or down... Crawford/Loma would give Canelo absolute fits

    because of style

I would not bet a dollar on any mix of those fights

but yea... Canelo is making BIG fights, and Crawford is not... so he cannot complain

and bud is not really complaining if you read between the lines... he knows whats up

Solid fighter but he done himself a mischief signing with Arum

Should have signed with pbc . Still think he would cook Spense

          Re

Could it be because those guys have faced tougher competition?! Loma has the same promoter that is feeding Crawford (and Tyson Fury)C+ opponents, and even he has a slightly better strength of opposition rating!

Get out of your Top Rank contact like Pacman did, do something! You cant weasel your way to a P4P ranking by lining up a parade of sparring partners!

            hold on...

Alvarez jumped TWO divisions to accomplish that feat... which is the very definition of P4P... you just fought Amir Khan, how many times has he been knocked out?

Crawford could be the best fighter in the world... he IS actually that good, no question... but everybody is entitled to forget that fact, while TC is happy dining on Top Rank cherries
Kovalov was ranked at least top 3 by almost EVERYONE that knows boxing.

            And P4P top 20.

He gonna keep winning. Watch who fights Kovalov next these fools won’t put money where their mouths are.

Sht I heard Smith and Saunders would box CIRCLES around Canelo.... Now it Biterbiev or Canelo ducking??? A fkn dude who fought at HW in amateurs and could EASILY make Cruiserweight.

Now I know people want to argue about level of comp faced. But if you know boxing, you can tell who is the better all around fighter. Just like everyone with sense knew that Roy Jones was light yrs better than Oscar, even though Oscar faced the better opposition.
At same size and weight. Lomachenko, 100 percent. You'd have to be blind to not see that.

Until you fight the big fights, you will never be no.1, this nonsense that you fought everyone in front of you, and nobody will fight you doesn't make you no.1.

-- you referred to the WBO as a minor title by calling it a 'trinket'. I personally dont have a bias for the WBO btw.

I use to root for Canelo, dont get me wrong, I appreciate his effort and skill. I only go hard in Nelo because he let me down with the Clen, I have a zero tolerance policy on drugs.

I repeated this point several times now, we are here to determine who is the best boxer in the world. I understand that the consensus for Canelo for P4P has derived from the general standard of resume, this in my opinion is a flawed system, which is lacking practical application and deviates from the original premise.

P4P is, if Terence Crawford were to fight Canelo Alvarez without any weight advantage, who wins?

They both can only accumulate a certain amount of names in their records that accounts for experience, but then you have to factor the skills, chin, heart, stamina, ring IQ in this fantasy match -- Some of you guys have lost the whole picture of what is P4P.

I think Bud shuts-down Canelo based on styles, kind of like how Mayweather or Lara made easy-work of Alvarez. The blue-print is out on Canelo.
We r trying to determine best fighter here, if they were all same weight. At 130, Loma destroys both Bud and Canelo. No questions asked. It's as obvious as night and day. Loma is taking on all the big dogs at 135, his unnatural weight. 3 belt's, one to go. Crawford in past two years has done what at 147? Forget about past two years. Skill set to skill set, they are not teaching Bud's method across America in boxing gyms. Everywhere you go though they are trying to emulate and teach Lomachenko style. He's changed the sport. Pvp, no matter how you slice it, he's been voted p4p, number 1 for a reason. Was Crawford ever number one p4p? Loma at same weight, best of the three.
But since it is subjective and these 3 will never meet up, if Crawford beats Spence, he's my new p4p, in current climate. If Loma beats Tank, Haney and winner of Teo and Commey, he and Bud are in a heated competition for number 1 pvp. If Bud also beats Porter and Manny and Spence. Crawford is a defensive counter puncher. Boring to watch. Loma is on the front foot but a defensive master himself and the angles and footwork and boxing IQ. They say Bud has high ring IQ. Loma is a master.
Crawford fluid switching of stance, but that would mean **** to Loma at same height and weight.
Really wouldn't affect Loma in the least. He'd pick him apart. Loma purposely fights southpaw. He's right handed
