None of us have had to cope with what Ruiz had to deal with. I wouldn't mind having a go, though.

I agree with Sulaiman's sentiment. Tough to slate a guy who turned out to just be a mere normal guy.

I'd rather give credit to the guy who proved he's more than that.

That sounds like he wont get another opportunity to fight for the wbc for a long time.

Suliman is a parasite that attaches himself to a fighter's purse in exchange for a $20 belt that's made in a garage tijuana.

There, I said it, somebody had to..

Suliman has no more use for Andy so I suspect you are right.

We were expecting to see Andy Ruiz this past Saturday, but Andy Arreola showed up and stunk up the joint. I can never trust this dude ever again to enter a fight in shape, it's just too much to ask of him.

Yes being raised with poor eating habits is a "circumstance".

There you go, attacking the victim. This is all Hearn's fault for ruining Andy's resolve with all that nasty money.

I'd like to see Ruiz fight another top 10 fighter next and see how he really measures up. We all know AJ has a glass jaw.

Ruiz was a victim of excessive eating and lack of discipline. Now he will go down in history as a one hit wonder.

To be fair, it's not like he was a nobody before this. He had fought for a World Title before. He was/is a highly ranked boxer, he had experienced media attention and been on the other side of the camera - something only very, very few people go through.

                      This was before beating AJ.

Bottom line is, he climbed his Everest in that fight, and didn't particularly care what happened next. That's purely on him - his decision.
