This is a must-watch! This would either prove is Andy deserves to stay near the top or is just a bad hype.

Ortiz IMO has better boxing skills and a better chin than AJ. Plus respectable power
If AJ can outboxed Ruiz. I think Ortiz can too.
Only way Ortiz loses is if he gasses after the 7th like he usually does.

I agree, these guys need to work out who is forth. Whyte and Miller could be in that bunch too.

I want to see this but Ruiz beating Ortiz doesn't mean Ruiz isn't over hyped, and vice versa. Ruiz needs to fight Wilder, or Ortiz needs to fight Joshua IMO.

              Love a triangle theory.

It would be a good match up. Ortiz likes to counter punch and Ruiz has to get close to be effective. I think we would see a lot of entertaining exchanges at mid/close range before Ortiz starts to tire and Andy takes over.

Ruiz by late round stoppage would be my pick.

I picked Ortiz to win on points because I can count on him to show up in shape. I think Ruiz has the potential to beat Ortiz. But he showed up in shi t shape and fatter than ever for the all important rematch so I can't depend on him. If he was ever to train really hard and get his weight down to about 225 pounds where it should be I think he might beat almost anybody. As long as he fights with up to 60 pounds of extra weight for a 6 foot 2 inch boxer he will never be more than a lower ranked contender.

I reckon Ruiz doesn't get enough credit for his counter abilities himself.

I favor Ortiz only because he's a southpaw to be honest. I don't think straight lefts would be too hard for him to land, but I wouldn't be shocked if Ruiz caught him mid range as he came in for one.
