AJ really boxes quite well when he comes forward, he's a destructive force on the front and back foot when he wants to be. Wilder is limited to throwing 1 punch, albeit a very fast and fight ending punch. I actually think its Wilder who will look to keep away from AJ, much like he has done in his recent fights. Whether or not AJ can stop him before Wilder judges the distance or not, who knows
Fair enough. I hope this happens in our lifetimes.

Possible, but I think AJ is a different fighter now after the Ruiz fight and you cant fight scared vs wilder.

Also i dont think the main factor is skill. Skill doesnt beat wilder. Everyone wilder has beat has more skill. I think the BIG deciding factor will be Wilders athleticism.

Regardless of who you think won the fight with Fury, Fury made it to the final bell. Not saying AJ can duplicate that level of boxing, just saying it can be done. Ortiz was doing well also.

DW will hit AJ with that right. No way he goes the entire fight not landing it. Matters on if AJ can survive it.

And of course, AJ has serious power as well.
Should be 1 for the ages

You proved my point bro. If wilder can land on guys with defense than wilder damn sure will land on AJ. Good night AJ

I think AJ will need a couple of more fights to perfect his "moving fighter" style before feeling comfortable to get in the ring with Wilder.

However, the most deciding factor will be 1. The percentage splits 2. Networks and 3. the rematch clauses. I don't see that fight happening anytime soon (in 2020). Unfortunately, we'll probably see the TMT vs PacMan type fight that happened 5 years too late.

Tough fight, but I'll go with Wilder by KO for now. Gotta see if AJ can return to form and get his confidence back in his next fights.
