    Smh

Ruiz just justfied why Top Rank/Bob Arum lost faith in him, and let him buy his way out of his contract.

I feel for Mexican fight fans,... Clenelo is a Celebrity duck artist/Fight fixer/RE-HYDRATION clause/drug cheat.

And now Ruiz can't stay focused for the biggest fight of his career.

    What a Shame.

As someone said before, Ruiz weighed more but actually looked more solid in the midsection than previously. Making excuses like this is cheap and takes away from the performance of the victor. AJ had a gameplan and carried it out brilliantly and maintained focus and discipline for the full fight. Nothing wrong with acknowledging that, and that you came up short and would try to rectify your mistakes moving forward.

This guy came from the abyss in boxing terms to the top position and you think that he wasn't going to train hard to try and maintain that new position? He would say so at every opportunity prior to the fight. He lost, and said he wouldn't make excuses but has done that since.

Joshua didn't want to trade with Ruiz when he knew he could land clean, effective punches from distance and largely avoid getting hit himself. Which is smart.

Fan boys want AJ to go to war but their boy wilder don't go to war until he lands one right hand.
He's always outclassed in every fight until the right hand bails him out.
They will pretend they don't know about that.

                ******headshake)))

It's Buster Douglas all over again.
                No doubt about it.
                "...partied for 3 months..."
                Come on maaaan!

Ruiz made history in back to back fights. Fight fans are disappointed😞.
The heavy weight division just got a whole helluva lot more simplified after the fall of Ruiz & Ortiz.

Why can’t people just give AJ his due.
You don't plan to cut the ring off by getting fatter. If your opponent is lighter, faster, longer, and stronger than you, where does consistently cutting the ring off come in?

Ruiz should join up with Matchroom and Hearn..

If Ruiz wants good money and top fights he should join up with Hearn and matchroom. Parker, Povetkin and Uysk are now working with them. Usyk got good money for the Bellow fight, more than any of his previous. Chisora and Whyte even headline their own shows and make a few millions. We even had Allen the white rhino headlining at one stage and he has done well money wise. Also Filip Hrgović seems to want to fight the likes of Chisora and Whyte and may come over.

If not Ruiz will be fighting B, C level fighters for a few fights unless he can go the WBC route.

Better to stay relevant and get some more good paydays while he is still up there. He may even find the WBO belt is up for grabs if AJ lets it go for a few fights until he takes on who ever has it (all in house at matchroom of course), the plan being for that to be Usyk..
