I think they should both have an in between fight. Ruiz did him a favor by being a replacement and then rematched him. Although Ruiz has the better win, he needs to prove that he can handle the big stage again. By doing so, he can stop spending money on ****** things and hire a nutritionist along with a strength and conditioning coach, drop to 245 and fight Adam Kownacki or Arreola. If he wins in great fashion, he can talk about a rematch or a Wilder fight.

option 3......eventually, only if he comes back in shape and has either 1 or 2 fights to prove he deserves it.

Ruiz needs a good win or two, then he should get a 3rd fight.

Right he doesn't deserve a rematch or any title shot for that matter.

Ruiz could earn it, certainly. Drop 40 pounds then put together 2-3 good wins BUT that would not be my prediction, sadly. Ruiz probably continues as he is, making a minimal effort.

Probably he hovers around the top 10 for a few years, fighting for diminishing purses. Probably he eventually goes bankrupt then laments his poor efforts to capitalize on his good fortune.

Yes and no. He won the first fight by taking advantage of the unknown issues on AJ's end, then he (Ruiz) comes into the rematch handicapped because of his own lack of discipline.

He should know how these things go....if you're not the favorite and you upset the apple cart, it's on YOU to make sure you repeat that series of events.

Andy knows damn well Eddie had HUGE plans for AJ, so why not take training seriously in what could possibly be your LAST big shot at the top of the division??? Pathetic.

I don't feel he deserves a third fight because he didn't help matters in the 2nd fight and didn't make a case for anybody taking him seriously from that point on.

Andy Arreola and his list of excuses is the reason he let the country of Mexico down. From what we know now, he's got a problem with discipline between fights and I don't think anybody likes the idea of a fighter being inconsistent between fights and not knowing if they'll make weight (for guys below HW).

No, he was no where near 100% (entirely his fault & her knew it every step of the way in cashing in that 10m cheque).

                Now it's, me so sorry.

Yes but not straight away, there is still unfinished business between Ruiz Junior & Joshua 'That was by no means a dominant demoralizing performance from Anthony Joshua'.

Anthony Joshua got the win, but in every single round Ruiz Junior looked to be the more dangerous fighter. Ruiz Junior needs to have a good performance against another top contender, and then start chasing the rematch hard 'Ruiz Junior should attempt to Obliterate Dillian Whyte, Kownacki or Ortiz.

I would preferably like to see Ruiz Junior in another high profiled fight early next year 'This is no time for him to go missing, he has to imminently overcome his last performance'.

Kind of a trick question bill, it depends on if Ruiz can get top wins again so the answer would be "Pending " he was offered a gift shot ,he didn't have to be the opponent and it really set him up great ,Ruiz has to get wins and maybe we see a rematch 2021 ? Lets be real here, Joshua has bigger plans , Wilder, Fury, Whyte Usyk and a possible dark horse Hrgovic who is a real problem Vitali Klitchko like and poses great threat. I'd vote yes though ,unless Ruiz takes an L somewhere.
