Crawford had ZERO fights in WW division and never defended his undisputed status as a JWW, dropped IBF belt same night he won it but still somehow deserved a shot vs Horn

Joshua will fight Pulev to keep the IBF. If he was stripped, Pulev would fight Kownacki for the title and theres no way Hearn would allow a title to change hands to Arum or Haymon.
Joshua will let go of the WBO. Usyk will fight Whyte for that title and both are Eddie Hearn fighters.
Assuming Joshua beats Pulev, Hearn then has another heavyweight title unification. It would either be a UK super fight in Joshua-Whyte 2... or Joshua-Usyk, which would be bigger than originally thought because in this scenario Usyk beat a British hero in Dillian Whyte.Comment

The WBO rules allows a champ moving up to get an immediate title shot(mandatory) at the next weight class. Its a good rule that helps fighters that want to be great. Without that rule Horn never would have fought Crawford.Comment

Thanks, I know that, but there are some special kind of ******s who says that Usyk has to earn or he doesn't deserve a shot at WBO beltComment

The rotation is IBF, WBA, WBO.
When Takam substituted for Pulev, that fulfilled the IBF obligation.
Povetkin was up next, as WBA mandatory, but he was also #1 in the WBO ratings and the WBO said they would count the fight as their mandatory as well.
Which means the IBF is up next again.
But Hearn does 't want the IBF up next because he doesn't control Pulev, Arum does.
So Hearn asked the WBO not to count Povetkin as a mandatory defense, even though Povetkin was rated #1 by the WBO and had made several defenses of the WBO international title.
So now the WBO is saying it's their turn and the IBF is saying **** that.Comment

The problem is that Hearn and the WBO tried to pull a fast one and the IBF is refusing to play along with the ruse.

I don’t think it’ll be Whyte in with Usyk. That’s essentially matching two future AJ opponents, the loss diminishes one or the other.Comment

Imagine if this backfires on Usyk and Parker or Whyte or whoever beat him for the vacant title.
If Usyk loses that fight and AJ gets past Pulev, AJ & Hearn have no excuses - has to call out Fury/Wilder II winner. They can have a rubber in 2021!
If they fight the new WBO champion that's not Usyk, I've got no real interest in seeing AJ/Parker II any time soon. AJ/Whyte II would be fun though but would be salty if they took that fight before Fury/Wilder II winner.
The plan might be to get Usyk the WBO title so the fight with Fury/WilderII winner isn't 'Undisputed'. Meaning if AJ somehow comes through and wins they can sell the Usyk fight as 'Undisputed'. Also means the WBO title is kept away from PBC, Top Rank etc. Also ensures that if AJ needs to run it twice the other title is safe in Matchroom hands.
Or we can read in to this that Usyk either, 1) knows he can beat AJ and wants to force him to have the fight asap, 2) he wants AJ to drop WBO title so he can become a HW champ before fighting AJ in case he thinks he just might have what it takes to hang with his boxing.
Usyk v Parker or Whyte would be a litmus test for Usyk at HW.Comment
