I respect him for coming back from a brutal loss. You can't knock any fighter from like that. That's like when Pac got iced by Marquez and you thought he would never come back.

With that said, I still would hold my judgement on him until he calls out Wilder and actually signs the contract sometime sooner than later. Not when Wilder is 40 years old...

Other than that, performance wise, I wasn't all that impressed that he outboxed a nearly 300lb out of shape midget. Anytime they elected to trade, he backed off.

Then again, I'm also one that doesn't care that Wilder has like zero boxing ability and can take you out at any given time. So yeah, I probably prefer to see some KO action when it appears you have all the physical advantages in a fight...

That is what it looked like to me too. After promising nothing less than a brutal KO he look scared in there and followed a hit and run battle plan to get the win with the least risks possible. He never once traded punches even for 10 seconds that I remember. He won almost all the rounds of one of the least action, poor watching heavyweight title fights ever. I kept waiting for him to throw some hard combinations but he never did. Just jab jab, jab and every once in a while a power punch and then back on the bike.

Yea he did what he had to do and I believe that was the only way he can win. He tried to trade one or twice and quickly abondoned that insantly when he realize ruiz can take his shots and will throw his own back.

He implemneted the wlad plan and it worked but he not good at it imo it only worked cause ruiz is fat slow footed and small but against other HW's that wont work for him.

Definitely. Although I chose AJ to win I thought Ruiz would give him some rough moments.
              Gained respect for AJ.
              Lost Respect for Ruiz.

I was literally amazed that he could not only completely change the way he’s been fighting his whole career but also morph his body into a body capable of fighting that way. How does one not respect that?

That said, the game plan Saturday works against Ruiz, not necessarily against Fury or Wilder.

The guy knocked out Klitschko, Povetkin and Whyte, he's allowed to box a decision or two, especially against a guy he lost to. It was the only way he could win.

I don't think GGG fans said any such thing. Why would a GGG fan trash AJ????? You are just obsessed with attacking GGG and his fans for no reason in a thread that is about AJ and has nothing to do with GGG or his fans. You don't want to hear GGG fans criticize AJ ?????? Who gives a fuc what you want? What will you do about it? Trash GGG and his fans? You already do that as much as you possibly can.
