I feel sad for Ruiz. He threw it all away!

I dont, the fat slob pretending to be this humble guy showed what he was really about in the end. Hopefully I wont have to watch him in the ring again. Felt sick just watching him waddle across the ring.
He was paid well in both fights so I doubt he even cares.
At least he still has his snickers belt!Comment

andy just said that he will come stronger and better prepared for the 3rd fight...📲 Andy Ruiz Jr has posted a video message for his fans just before going to sleep following the rematch defeat to Anthony Joshua…

I agree it was more because of AJ than Ruiz. Still saying you added weight to be more powerful or in case ur opponent leaned on you is just an old heavyweight joke everyone keeps falling for. It’s how they sell the fight while coming in fatter than before. If u were a former cruiser bulking up maybe. But all the weight Andy added was fat and it showed. Andy figured AJ would move more, so why would ruiz add weight as a strategy? He already showed he had the power to hurt him. If anything he knew he’d need to be able to move better to counter AJs movement. Adding a bunch of fat is not a strategy. It just means u ate more or trained less or both. Dillian Whyte admitted he was a stone and a half overweight. Would anyone look at him and say it might be because of a pre determined strategy? Adding extra fat is never a legit strategy, saying it is, it’s just an old joke to sell the fat. Douglas said the same thing vs Holyfield. Never has there been examples of added fat contributing to a win.I thought they purposely added weight for power. Hmmm
During the pre fight there were no clear or legit issues of undertraining or being lazy...(like chavez jr level lazy)
Imo, he prepared well for that fight.. adding weight was just the wrong strategy..
For me, It was more of being outboxed and couldn’t do anything with it than not having a good camp.
It was more because of Aj than it is Ruiz.Comment

The piece of sh.it on the biggest night of his life decided to piss it all or rather eat it all away. The added weight was no strategy (he said as much post fight that he wasn't in good shape), I dont want to hear that, the guy was just too undisciplined to come in at a good weight. Was he not bragging beforehand that he was coming in lighter and sharing those pics, I guess the temptation of those burritos is just too much to bear. Marvin Hagler, said it best, hard to do the roadwork when you rolling out of silk sheets. Guy couldn't separate his new found celebrity from his craft. AJ was there to be had but the fat fuc.k could not move quick enough to track him down, fast hand and all. He doesn't deserve a third fight, especially after such a whitewash. Take your money and go back to fighting the nobodies. AJ did what he had to do so on to the next one. Hopefully the Fury-Wilder winner would be next.Last edited by Hands of Stone; 12-08-2019, 02:34 AM.Comment
