Would Joshua be able to run for all 12 rounds against Wilder? Or outbox Fury?

AJ fought very well and did what he should have. he has an excellent jab and against an opponent with no reach he only needed that jab to get the job done, Ali did this all the time: used the jab as the only punch necessary. Of course Ali did it against a lot of guys who were well known lol.

AJ might have the best jab out of Wilder and Fury but because of reach and other factors this does not do him much good. Fury would probably outbox AJ. Fury does more things well, and can avoid AJ for the most part. Wilder would do better against AJ than Ruiz...Wilder is so succesful because nobody pressures him...creates a reason for him not to throw his power shots. What is AJ going to do? counter Wilder? I doubt it. He could not counter Ruiz who had shorter arms and slower feet.

I think he'd need to be attack minded against both, he had a good strategy for tonight but it shouldn't become his new plan A for other fights

He'd need to outbox Wilder and hope he doesn't get caught for 12 rounds, and he'd have to try to knockout Fury before it goes to the scorecards.

Fury and Ortiz we're able to outbox Wilder, but both got dropped multiple times. Joshua has more power than Fury and more height & reach than Ortiz.

I'd be interested to see Joshua fight either guy, but the winner of Wilder-Fury 2 has to be the clear favorite over Joshua.

No sense in thinking about it. AJ and Eddie Hearn made it very clear post fight they want no part of unifications. They will fight tomato cans for 2 years at least and protect AJ at all costs. The sad part is people will buy it and therefore allow it.

He absolutely cannot try that shyt on Wilder.

He'll get lined up and stretched out.

As for Fury, it depends on which Tyson shows up.

The one that fought Wallin gets KTFO...the one that fought Wilder runs a clinic.

Joshua would get clocked against Wilder. Joshua sucks. He had the performance of his life tonight and it was just enough to outpoint a 6'0" obese heavyweight.

Yeah I heard them say on the broadcast that Michael Hunter is a 2020 Joshua opponent. That will be so annoying if they hype that up as a big fight, which they inevitably will.

I'd agree, but they're coming from a wider stance than Ruiz's shorter arms.

I'm not saying AJ beats Wilder, I'm not saying he doesn't... all I'm saying is, we can't judge that fight based on how AJ did against a slow-footed fatty.

He just needs to be able to take those handful of times that Wilder hits him hard. There's not really much doubt that he'd whoop Wilder's ass for most of the fight.

Obviously it's a huge uncertainty whether he would survive those handful of punches.

I think for Fury he would switch up his strategy. Wilder he may have to do the same as Ruiz, but I think Wilder catches him and ends him though.
