I don’t think Ruiz will win even better prepared

Anyone that can box and move 12 rounds will beat him.

That said, I agree the condition of Ruiz did make the job easier though.

Naw Andy had his moment and made himself a Millionaire it is over for him as far as with AJ

Andy likely heads back to PBC and they throw him in a Showcase/Get Back fight somewhere in California and try to build him back up. He was just Out-Boxed not like he was knocked out and embarrassed so Andy will be Fine

Andy vs Kownacki would be a good fight, still would love to see him vs maybe Arreola that would be a good fight for him next to bounce back

Oh I'm inclined to agree. The first outcome made for a fun highlight reel and Rocky character arc Ruiz got lots of mileage from, but also carried an aura of fluke that I never fully got past, seeming as much due to AJ not being entirely present as credit to Ruiz. I'd peg a third to have a similar outcome to today, albeit maybe not quite as one sided, even if Ruiz came in at career low weight with an emphasis on closing the gap etc. And in the interim AJ would only improve and refine today's game plan. Not entirely without interest but also kind of meh.

            Yeah

I wouldn’t say the first was a fluke per se, Ruiz is of a standard where he can beat Joshua, it’s not some mismatch, but it requires Joshua to be ****** and trade again, which isn’t going to happen.

Joshua knows how to beat him now though and it’s not difficult if you can implement that style. which AJ showed he could, and he deserves credit for that.

I don’t see how Ruiz would win a third because of that. AJ will do what he did tonight and Ruiz will have no answer for that style again, even if he’s 15 lbs lighter. Too short and too slow in his feet to fight someone that can keep him as distance.

I think anyone knew how to beat Ruiz. I always said Fury would beat him without breaking a sweat because of that style. The question was can AJ fight like that and sustain it for 12, and he did.

I think every round these two fight are exciting.

I’m excited for them to do it again.
They would have to agree to having only one person watching it....basically just you.

I’m here to be convinced but Ruiz needs to get down under 250 and get a decent win or 2 under his belt first.

I sure as hell hope not, but the way Eddie and AJ were talking post fight, it's coming soon, if not next fight the one after. Any way they can continue to milk the fans out of millions while they throw tomato cans in front of AJ. Can't blame them when the people will buy it. Low risk high reward fights for 2 years before we see AJ in with anyone who has a chance against him. He said it himself in the post fight interview, he wants no part of unifications.

This fight was boring, dunno what people were watching. I just saw a guy who had absolutely no solution to what the other guy was doing, I find no entertainment in complete white washes that are dragged on all the way through 12 rounds. I can accept one sided fights where the guy dominating is properly going out trying to knock this guy clean out, not saying AJ never tried at any point but we seen him plenty of times just circling round Ruiz (must have took a lot of effort orbiting something that big) and not doing much.

I don’t think we’ll see a third, no matter what was said post fight.

AJ will be advised against it. Even though he won easy tonight, i think they’re not going to go back in with a man that has already knocked him out and i don’t think the public will really be demanding it.
