Here's how ****** Wilder and PBC fans are. They actually want to pay MORE to see WORSE fight cards instead of paying LESS to see BETTER fights hahahaha. I'm going to watch a fight card that has 4 of the top 13 heavyweights on it this weekend and I paid $100 for the entire year, which means I get to see the rest of the fights on here too in 2020. Plus I got ESPN app too so I will see 80% of the good fights and I can stream the BS PPV ones. But y'all want to argue that it is somehow better to pay 70-80 dollars to watch Wilder beat up on an old man?? You idiots are actually arguing this?????

No one is arguing it is better. We are arguing it is a choice those consumer made.

Most people drive a Toyota. Some people drive a Benz. Others drive a Lambo. Anyone that buys a Lambo or Benz had the choice to buy a Toyota. They chose the more expensive option because it was what they wanted.

Also, stop lover exaggerating about good fights. The majority of cards on dazn and espn apps have been the level of ESPN Friday night fights or SHOBOX fights.

How about you just admit you can't afford to watch the PPV's.

Floyd's clinch and runs with Maidana 2X is ESPN worthy.

Glad you like paying for mediocre fights. PPV once used to be for blockbuster fights, now, any fight is placed on PPV.

The point is this-PPV remains a viable market for casual fans even though dazn is better for the diehard boxing fan.

Notice that dazn reps have talked about expanding into PPV. They see how much revenue is generated and want a cut.
I don’t pay yearly for DAZN, I buy the months that I think are the best value.

PBC’s good fights used to be on free tv. Now anything halfway decent is PPV and most of their FS1 stuff is awful.

If DAZN goes into PPV or charges anything more than their monthly price right now than my tune about them will change too.

And how much were fighter's purse guarantees from the PPV's? Did PBC make money or lose money?

Talking like an idiot per usual.

About 2/3 of that "1.8 million", if that number is even true, was the two Pacquiao fights. The rest were mediocre numbers that Spence, Wilder etc. drew.

Take Paquiao's numbers out and see how much that leaves them.

Only idiots like you that trade your welfare for money are dumb enough to buy PPVs. I payed my $100 for DAZN and illegally stream PBC crap.

Dude again it’s consumer choice. I bet you have teams or fighters you like and you watch them in “mediocre “ games / fights over better games/ fights.

You guys have to stop being mad that people make choices different than you.

I am sure they lost money although Poster cobra posted they have a different ppv deal than the old model and they make money even though the fight didn’t sell huge.

Dude don’t call someone an idiot and then spell paid incorrectly.

The article points out that manny was involved with the sales. He is with pbc so you can’t erase him just to try and lower the number.

Pbc accounted for $135 mil in ppv sales in 2019. For any of you to argue ppv is dead knowing that is just ******.
