Some say Eddie don't understand the US market but AL can't sell out a small out a small venue for wilder despite all that promotion, barely did 250k ppv's.

Wilder should just accept his faith. He can't be a ppv star without AJ/fury/whyte.
    Hez just wasting his time.

Who cares. Both are overrated. Their first fight was boring. I don't think anyone cares about that rematch. Joshua turned out to be crap too. Dont think anyone cares about AJ vs Wilder anymore either. Other divisions is where it's at now. Heavyweight hasn't been the same for decades.

Note Top Rank owns many of Ali film rights

To this very day Arum is still getting paid every time ESPN shows a old Ali fight on ESPN fight classics

Haymon makes his fighters hold on to these rights as promoters

Thats one reason why Wilder said no to Dazn
Who wanted to own the film rights in USA

while Im sure Eddie would own film rights in UK
Not saying these other avenues of revenue don’t exist, but that’s a lot of mental gymnastics to justify the pay difference. Just calling it how it is, he’s behind on what he’s collected thus far, vs what the deal guaranteed him under DAZN. It is what it is. He bet on himself, and still is going to make a ton of money in 4 fights, just not as much as if he had signed a DAZN. I’m sure he isn’t losing too much sleep over it though.

Either way, by not signing the contract Wilder is free to fight Fury if Joshua wins and balks at fighting him as he said he would just weeks ago.
The intrigue factor is gone so how can it be worth more to DAZN? Joshua was knocked out by a fat man and he was supposed to carry the card and so people will not buy as much. Whatever DAZN is going to pay isn’t much compared to the old offer. If Joshua loses tomorrow that’s it, the Wilder fight is gone and Wilder will be feeling the total loss forever. Also the Breazale fight would have paid Wilder more than he ended up making.

Accordingly, Wilder didn't miss out on any money that he couldn't get. He is right were he was before the Ruiz Joshua fight if he fights Joshua twice for the same $40M per fight that he was offered.
Considering the money that the Saudi's or Qatari's want to obviously pump into their entertainment image, I think it's still a $100m two fight deal. Maybe even more.

If Joshua is reportedly making $50m for the Ruiz fight, Joshua/Wilder could make $200m on a 50/50.

But, you make a good point, Wilder isn't worse off, for now. Sunday morning may bring a different perspective.

If Joshua loses tomorrow then $80M of that offer was never going to be realized. As far as a future AJ Wilder fight, the intrigue factor is still there and a heavyweight unification fight still will bring the US subscriptions that Dazn craves. If one of the fighters gets less money than was initially envisioned it would be Joshua because of his loss.

You said Wilder needs Whyte to sell PPVs. Which PPVs is Whyte going to help him sell in the states? You think that fight happens in the UK?

What was the love gate of Whyte's O2 fights?
