    Yes, of course

But Ruiz would rightly be the bigger attraction for beating Joshua twice

and Fury/Wilder sells because of the match up, because of the first fight (a la Ortiz)

Neither are huge money fights because Joshua is the cash cow. In both cases, people aren’t paying for Wilder

So I’m struggling to see what PPV future he has outside of others

Tyson Fury is a much bigger star than Luis Ortiz. Tyson Fury has a much bigger fanbase than Luis Ortiz. Luis Ortiz doesn't have a fanbase.

The UK trolls insisted Fury was responsible for all of the 325,000 buys. The UK trolls insisted nobody would buy Wilder vs. Ortiz, that the fight didn't belong on PPV, and ultimately, insisted it only sold 2,500 buys.

When in fact, with no Fury, and no marketable opponent, Wilder still sold over 275,000 buys. So yes, I do think that's impressive.

If he's pulling in 275k buys against Ortiz, he will continue being on PPV. I guess I'm not sure what you are trying to ask here? Clearly he has three PPV fights in Ruiz/Fury/Joshua. And Ruiz wouldn't be the A-side in their match up, they would probably split it up 50/50 like they are for the Fury fight.

So Wilder fights Ortiz, who has no fanbase whatsoever, and Wilder still does over 275,000 buys. Days ago, you UK trolls were insisting the fight did 2,500 buys. It ends up doing over 275,000 buys and then you say the numbers aren't good.

Would Fury vs. Ortiz have done more than 275k buys? No. Would Joshua vs. Ortiz have done more than 275k buys? No. Would Jarrell Miller vs. Ortiz have done more than 275k buys? No.

So if the numbers aren't good, who would do good numbers in your opinion? Many of you claimed the fight would flop and had no business being on PPV. Yet it did over 275,000 buys at $75 a pop. Clearly the public found the fight to be PPV worthy.
don't even bother bro they will never give any credit of have any reason, you are wasting your time

            So did around Spence/Porter.

Let's see the live gate of the event. If it is less than than 2M, then as far as I'm concerned, Spence is the biggest American star in boxing at the moment.
they moved my homie from the second deck to almost on the floor free day of the fight so hella give away a for sho

275K is actually great for what this fight was...... a rematch nobody wanted, perhaps if they can get Wilder into fights that fans want then he may have a PPV future afterall. This doesn't come close to covering the reported purses though so there's no way that Ortiz got 7m and Wilder 20m.

That's a huge success since some ******* on boxing scene told me it only did 2500.

Solid numbers. Wilder-Fury 2 will likely double that.

He’s pulling 275k buys apparently against a hyped up KO machine opponent, who he has fought once and almost KO’d him. It had the right ingredients if promoted properly. That pulled 275k

Who else is he going to fight to get similar numbers? Whyte? The money would be in UK PPV.

His only future PPV fights rely on other established fighters, or in rare cases, a match up they can make attractive. He isn’t a commodity in his own. I don’t agree a Ruiz fight would be 50/50. If it ends up that way, Ruiz’s management are not doing their jobs properly as Wilder doesn’t have many more options outside of Fury
