I've always felt he was just another sleaze promoter, in the same vein as DeLaHoya. He represents a small market who are very "rah rah" for the hometown boys so they eat up everything he says. The US market doesn't have any interest in his BS though.

Like Larry Holmes after Ali, its hard for people to accept the new guy. People just love the old promoter Don King too much and the new guy has to get alot of stick 1st before he is accepted into their hearts.

I think in time he will be loved in the same way Don King is loved
