    Yup! That's also true. Though his father knows Hearn is God with the gift.

      Even if he wasn't in the picture for a Joshua fight when you had him why would you let go of a Mexican American Heavyweight when the division is heating up? Joshua had the WBO. Bob could've got him another WBO shot.

        In this heavyweight environment you don't let go of any heavyweights. It's not like Andy was outclassed against Parker. Some people had him winning that fight.

          Old Bob, old bob man;

          You know you telling another got dam lie! Being nice has nothing to do with the fight game you couldn’t imagine him being in this position therefore you failed to invest, tell the dam truth for once in your life. You and that Don King guy are so much alike but you are more reserved with your words but a snake is a snake poison or not.

            Arum has it right. He made a business decision based on his knowledge of the facts as they stood. He's being honest when he says that if he had known Andy was going to fight and defeat Joshua he would never have let him go. Now he is gracious enough not to cry over spilled milk and wish Ruiz the best. Shows that Bob does have a measure of humility. Let's give credit where credit's due.

              Bob arum has never had good luck with heavy weights for whatever reason.

              I appreciate his Candor here he admits when he screws up on a signing. A few years back he gave an interview where he said he passed on Triple G before he was even a world champion. They knew how good of an amateur he was but they did not think he would be marketable and a good enough investment to Merit signing.

              I do agree that Bob should have tried to keep Andy. I think top-ranked felt that when he came up short against Parker that that was his cash out fight.

                Very true. Arum has been vocal about others. Take Mikey Garcia, Oscar, Floyd.... If Arum praises someone who left him then this praise must be genuine.

                  LOL! The Bob Father got ***ed!

                  He gave up on Ruiz! In other words he F###ed up. If I were Ruiz I'd kiss Al Haymon's ass all the way to the bank.

                    Had ruiz won the fight against parker he would of eventually fought AJ. Under different circumstances of course

                      More money with the PBC? Look at what Spence earned against porter and compare it to what Bud did against khan. There is no reason those fights shouldn’t get made. The promoters do have fault in the big fights not getting made but there’s a lot more fault that falls on the fighter. Like bud said, if a fighter really wants a fight he’ll get it. Whether he’s with a different promotion or not. Fury Vs Wilder got made. Why can’t we get Crawford Vs Spence, porter, Garcia, Thurman or Pacquiao made? Reason is Simple. Because these dudes don’t want it. They don’t want that smoke. The only reason we got Fury Vs Wilder was because Haymond had enough confidence in that Wilder could win. Don’t think he’s got too much faith in any of his top WW I just mentioned to win against Crawford. That’s another reason why these fights aren’t getting made. So no he shouldn’t have to jump ship to get those fights. These dudes just gotta stop ducking and push for that fight.
