Lmao @ people praising haymon. Ruiz did it himself and fought aj because haymon didnt believe in him. The only fighters he lets fight on other promotions are no hopers i.e molina, khan and Chavez jr

Arum feels like the guy that left the Beatles right before they made it big.

Bob had Ruiz on the shelf. He's a bit bitter but kudos to him for taking the high road..

He didnt see Andy's worth even tho he had a close fight with Parker. At the time, I thought Parker won and rescoring I had it a draw.. it was a close fight that either man could've won. Bob should've atleast know Andy was a legit contender..

wtf? this is why i cant stand the fat ****.
Well that's very true, it was Ruiz who promoted himself, i'm not sure who he's paying for promotion but he should fire their ass. However I think the thanks to Al is probably because it might be stipulated in their contracts somewhere, that they can't fight on rival networks without their/his consent.

This is a recurring theme with Bob. He undervalues a fighter, they leave him and go on to earn more than they ever would have with him. Are you reading this Crawford?

Exactly! I saw and interview where Ruiz said he had to help his dad do construction to get by, this after having fought for a world title with Top Rank. Ruiz was under contract for 1 more fight that Top Rank wouldn't produce until he agreed to more fights but they didn't want to pay him what he was asking for so he wouldn't re-sign. Ruiz said he was basically ready to quit Boxing and start working construction until Haymon freed him from Top Rank. For the most part Haymon takes care of his fighters that's why everyone is always grateful to him.
