That's not how PBC work. To circumvent the Ali's act, Al haymon allow his fighters to work with promoters/form their own promotion. Notice most fighters who work with PBC have their own promotional banner? If Ruiz has to reach to Dazn and Eddie, it means he did so under the advice of Haymon and perhaps operating under his own promotional banner.

He was allowed to take the Joshua fight and wasn’t blocked like they did to Ortiz and like they have been doing for Wilder. He wasn’t suppose to be one of the big boys at PBC until he shocked Joshua.
