Or maybe he just has a better promoter/ manager in Haymon Bob. Stop running your boxing stable with two parts risk adversion, three parts streamlined budgets and one part lack of vision and maybe you won’t miss these opportunities. The formula is non strategic cheap pockets for very minimal gains.

He says this nonsense as he squanders the career of Terrence Crawford. Had Terrence fought Pacquiao instead of Horn, Errol may not be the man at welterweight. Had he put him in with other contenders Bud wouldn’t be freezing behind a Nebraskan curtain.

Everyone seems to leave Arum over money and then make more money.

      DLH
      Mayweather
      Cotto
      Pacquiao
      Ruiz

If Crawford and Lomachenko leave TR I bet they would make more money too.

"Bob Arum presided as Andy Ruiz’s promoter throughout the height of the heayweight’s career.

Then, earlier this year, Ruiz bought out his contract for $700,000, and parted ways with Top Rank. After Ruiz orchestrated his own free agency, he signed with PBC."

        Terence Crawford...take notes!

[QUOTE=killakali;20227777]they didn’t do it for him. DAZN did. Ruiz himself initiated the talks with DAZN and Eddie.
Hearn or Dazn, had no idea that Ruiz could beat AJ.
They thought it was easy money and a warm up for AJ and the Gypsy King,or Wilder.
Ruiz is a very good and was a very underrated boxer.
AJ has his hands full this weekend

He did not preside over the height of Ruiz' career. He presided over the depths of Ruiz' career. Ruiz hit his heights after leaving Arum. I'd even go so far as to say because he left Arum he hit his heights.

That's not how PBC work. To circumvent the Ali's act, Al haymon allow his fighters to work with promoters/form their own promotion. Notice most fighters who work with PBC have their own promotional banner? If Ruiz has to reach to Dazn and Eddie, it means he did so under the advice of Haymon and perhaps operating under his own promotional banner.

He was allowed to take the Joshua fight and wasn’t blocked like they did to Ortiz and like they have been doing for Wilder. He wasn’t suppose to be one of the big boys at PBC until he shocked Joshua. After that win Ruiz now became a pawn for PBC, they even made him think he didn’t have to honour his rematch.

Arum is a crook. Why did Ruiz have to give you $700,000. You never gave him 700 hundred grand. You didnt spend anything to promote him. In fact you NEVER promoted him. But because he signed a contract with you. He had to PAY to get out of it. Now I know why Mayweather hates you guts. King and Arum are just different colors of the same slime coin.

Cuz Arum, like Hearn, wants his cut up front before he'll even talk about doing a fight for 'his' fighter.
