      Yikes.
He just did 275K with a Cuban who doesn't speak english. Correct me if my math is wrong, but that's over 100K

I dont know why people hate on wilder, he realistically is one of the few boxers that CAN be a PPV STAR!

I don't even like the dude, he's a terrible boxer. But the blind hate on here is just downright re-tarded

Well of course... When was the last time someone did over 1M buys? Canelo vs. GGG 2?

Pacquiao vs. Thurman did like 400K

I'm not sure Canelo can even do 1M anymore.

The PPV idea of a "PPV star" doesn't exist anymore. You can maybe approach that if you put the right fights together. But no one is doing 1M by themselves anymore.

You believe that fight did 275k?

Have a rest. That would mean Wilder Ortiz II did similar numbers to Wilder vs Fury. Do you honestly believe that? Or do you believe that's a marketing ploy to avoid more embarrassment?

Do you think Showtime would have passed on this PPV if they thought it was generate anywhere near that type of cash?

And, even if he did do 275k which he absolutely did not, then that's still a monumental flop that couldn't even recover fighters purses, and just proves how little people actually care about Wilder in America or anywhere else for that matter.

But he can't be a PPV star.

He's 34 years old and both his PPVs have flopped in losses. He's into his 40s in terms of fights, and his own network is turning him down.

In what world do you think that's the beginning of a PPV star? Wilder unfortunately just doesn't have the 'it' factor.

People don't connect with him well, and you can see why.

his dumbo fans don't help him either, and neither does that corny little guy in the white fur coat that's always by his side acting like a tough guy.

Wilder vs Fury will probably do around 400-500k
Fury will sell the s*** out of the fight beforehand.

I think Ruiz vs Wilder is actually the biggest possible PPV, you get the mexican fans and undisputed on the line. Joshua is a star in the UK but nobody really knows him here in the US but for the KO loss to Ruiz.

I think Ruiz could outbox Wilder but could he survive? probably not, but i'd pay for that one.

I think DAZN are willing to pay more than any combination of the above PPV's is going to generate for AJ vs Wilder undisputed.
