Imagine if this ends up on a PBC network. How will the xenophobes spin this as Haymon being a genius for paying millions for a Russia vs Cuba fight.

Gamboa was at one point holding 2 belts with WBA 'regular' being one of them. Inoue also held both the WBA 'regular' and IBF before winning the 'super' against Donaire in the WBSS finals.

Not trying to defend WBA's corrupt system, just saying those things happened before

So this means WBA can no longer have one owner now. The 'super' and 'regular' will always have their separate ways now even if you try to unify them. Well done, we now have 5 official champs, 2 from WBA

Carl Froch is another, he unified the WBA regular and IBF super middleweight titles while his pappy Andre Ward was defending the WBC and WBA Super titles.

The WBA have always done this BS

look at when Super WBA champ GGG "unified" with Regular WBA champ Danny Jacobs in 2017.

The WBA just created another title

Pac & Thurman "unified" WBA belts, here's the WBA again creating another title

**I thought they made a statement a couple years back claiming they'd cut back on title belts in their own organization

                  fake news
