Does Anthony Joshua have a bit of a David Price vibe?

From his interview with Costello it sounds like he believes something did happen in the build up to the first fight.

He's trying to play it down, but gave himself away a couple of times.

It'll come out eventually. Until then we just have to see what AJ turns up on Saturday.

Personally I see Anthony Joshua as a David Price, Audley Harrison tier fighter. A very limited "fighter" who may already have been found out and exposed. Davey Price was a decent prospect with a similar style to AJ (bullying opponents using his physicality), and once he got found out he fell apart mentally. I think there are definitely parallels with how AJ fell apart mentally in New York. When Pricey got found out by Tony Thompson a few years back, he fell apart even more spectacularly/ridiculously in the rematch!

They Price/Harrison stuff is kinda funny but we all know those guys would have never accomplished what Joshua has.

no way. those two were not elite athletes. alll they were / are is big. joshua's a truly elite athlete. he was one of the fastest 100 meter sprinters in his country. he has what, 5-8% body fat and he's 245 lbs? david price could do nothing but body build and i doubt he'd get down to that level of leanness.

price has height and good power, audley had... height? boxing skills i guess, but his chin was so **** and he never had height.


joshua's also proven to have a decent chin compared to those two piles of mush. he got rocked hard as hell by klitschko early on and he had enough legs to stop him in the 11th.


is joshua limited? absolutely. but he's also been the HW champion of the world and he has good wins, something harrison and delvis cannot say.

aj seems to be very small mentally and doesn't take pressure well.

And of course something happened. Bring it up and people want to act like you're the conspiracy theorist. Still haven't gotten a reasonable explanation for the delay in the dressing room. Still haven't gotten a reasonable explanation for AJ's father yelling at AJ. And AJ looked off standing in the corner before the fight.
