No thanks. He should fight Taylor or Ramirez if possible. Both undefeated champions at 140. If they wanna move up and challenge him, its better than fighting nobodies.
If he fought Munguia at 154 with no catchweight and no hydration clause that’s legit. It would not be a bad fight. Canelo didn’t do that with Fielding.

I’d rather see D Garcia or Porter or Thurman, 140 guys not so much

If you'd actually watch the video they're talking about those fights atb147. Arum said it last week on that same show

Not everybody is going to become a Big Star or a DRAW in this sport, in fact most fighters WON'T but they can still make great money

Bud Crawford is just a Boxing STAR among us Hardcore Boxing Fans which is a very very small community. Outside of that, maybe he just don't have "IT" and I think Top Rank and ESPN know that after losing Millions on that Crawford vs Khan event.

I don't think DAZN or PBC can make him a bigger star either but with PBC, he would at least be able to get the big fights Fans Want to see him in

Again I go back to another thread about Wilder and Haymon...I say the same thing here about Bob Arum and the guys at Top Rank, they know WTF they're doing, once again neither ME or anybody on this damn Forum hell not even Bo Mac can tell Bob Arum anything as far as how to promote when Bob has made many fighters Multi Millions and been doing so before most of us was born. So all you can do is get a Chuckle out of some people on a Forum who I'm sure don't even have their own financial situation in order (myself included ) trying to tell guys like Arum, Haymon, Hearn and others in the Boxing World how to do their F#CKING JOBS!

Fans need to stay in their Lane...AS FANS!

If Bob and ESPN doesn't see him as Marketable then maybe that is indeed the Case he doesn't have much of a personality, his Interviews are actually AWFUL and boring to watch. Besides that, he is a excellent fighter!

And neither should he. Why take unnecessary risks when you don't have to, it's all very well for 'fans' to say he should do this and that but they are not the ones who may cop any adverse consequences.

It doesn't matter right now. If they move up to 147 and Bud beats them, he gets no respect because it's a little guy moving up. If it's at 140 or CW, he has to kill his body again, for almost no respect since he's the 'bigger man'.

If those guys want to fight him, they need to move up to WW officially and show they're for real by taking on at least 1 or 2 fights against a serious (say top20) opponent.

The question to Bob wasn't would he rather have Bud fight Garcia or Taylor. The question was if Bud can't get the Garcia's, Spence's, Thurman's who will he fight. Bob mentioned the 140 lbers moving up to fight Bud. BoMac said they aren't interested

I agree he shouldn't. But at the same time BoMac shouldn't dismiss the 140lb champs moving up to challenge Crawford

How's that any different with what he did against Horn?
