The only condition that matters is his psyche. If he's not right mentally, it's a wrap. As it was the 1st fight.

Nonsense. Steroids don't cause lack of stamina. Mass does.

Because it's better from a function standpoint. Which is why an athlete is actually stronger 2 weeks after finishing a steroid cycle, then when they are on cycle. The body returns to a more normal state of fluid retention. And for the record; I don't know if AJ has ever used PEDs. But his physique sure was suspect.

This will be much better for him. His gas tank will improve exponentially. That being said; I still think Ruiz boxes his ears off. His problem was technique. He simply cannot deal with Andy's handspeed.

We've seen AJ can't sit in the pocket with Andy. And jabbing and moving to the right will not impress the judges. He needs to start moving his head more.

AJ gets hit WAY too easily.

Correction; MUSCLE mass does. Because Andy is sure packing some mass, and his stamina has always looked good.

Any mass does. Your body has to work harder to move. Yes some fat people have good stamina, they'd have even better if they weren't as fat. There's a reason all world class long distance runners are like skeletons.

Wrong. From a function standpoint; he DOES need to lose water. It will only slow him down. He's really paying for lifting weights now.

That's the prevailing wisdom, as body fat is not functional. However, how do you explain cardio freaks like Daniel Cormier or Cain Velazquez in MMA?

Muscle mass will not only slow you down, it will also effect your stamina, as bigger muscles require more oxygen.

Well yeah. Just like I'm sure Tyson, Holyfield, Wlad, and tons of others were as well.
